INSTRUCTORS
MTF CLASSES FOR KIDS (5-15)

WHAT IS KIDS MUSICAL THEATRE FITNESS?

You love Musical Theatre? You’re great with children and have a passion for making exercise fun and enjoyable from a young age? Then you’re in the right place! We, here at Musical Theatre Fitness, have been spreading the dance fitness joy and making exercise fun again for adults, who also enjoy that extra sparkle and pizazz, but why should the adults have all of the fun? Our new Kids Musical Theatre Fitness classes will allow children to keep active whilst dancing, playing games, and learning child-friendly exercise techniques to help them as they grow and develop. You will learn about the different age groups we have; Little Stars, Shooting Stars, and Super Stars, understand how to collect the relevant information to plan an MTF class for children, understand informed consent, understand the safety considerations during classes, look at pre-class screening and session introduction, and learn choreographed Musical Theatre Fitness tracks and games for each age group.

PRE-REQUISITE

Typically we look for our Instructors to have a Level 2 qualification in a fitness related field or an Exercise to Music qualification. You may have other qualifications that suit, but we ask that you are able to obtain fitness instructor insurance with your qualifications. If you are able to get fitness instructor insurance, then you are able to teach Musical Theatre Fitness! An example of other qualifications that are accepted can be viewed here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1HmNn3KIzszda53-yRpXvw7SFLcVlnw07/view

If your qualification doesn't appear - don't fear! Drop us an email at musicaltheatrefitness@gmail.com and we can confirm if your current qualifications are all okay to proceed with the course.
